1-Point Perspective Drawing

My drawing is titled “1-Point Perspective Drawing”. Like what the title of my work says, this drawing had to be in one point perspective. For this drawing I used an ebony drawing pencil, kneaded eraser, and pink eraser. We were to find an image in 1-point perspective. I chose an image of a large window I saw one day during vacation. The vanishing point in my drawing is the center of the window frame. I focused on having a full value scale. I found it difficult to correctly incorporate Da Vinci’s 6 Parts of Light because it is not as obvious as to where the light source is. However, I feel like I did a good job including it accurately. I think it also helps that I used line quality to differentiate the pane from the frame of the window. Overall, I am happy with how my drawing turned out.
